About Us

Zinduka Arise Afrika Mission Inc. (ZAAM) is a nonprofit organization, registered as a 501(c)(3) organization in the United States of America, the state of Oklahoma. The organization exists to advance the mission and vision of ICC Nairobi by mobilizing and developing resources, and strategically deploying them to support the vision of Raising Godly Generations in Africa through church planting, leadership development, and social transformation.

The organization was first founded through the partnership of International Christian Centre–Nairobi and North Church, Oklahoma City. Though located in different parts of the world, both churches share a common mission: to see generations redeemed from poverty, disease, hunger and most importantly, from spiritual bondage, into a life of freedom in Christ. The work of these churches therefore goes beyond the four walls of the church and seeks to see lives being transformed.

History

While ZAAM was established in the US in 2022, the work it supports has been at the heart of ICC Nairobi since inception in 1986. In response to both the spiritual and practical needs of the community, ICC established the Zinduka Arise Afrika Foundation as the church's social transformation arm. Since then, ICC has grown to multiple locations in Kenya and globally, hence the need to establish ZAAM as a 501(c)(3) to support the driving of the vision.
